INCAREHEART brings together five public purchasers: Region Jämtland Härjedalen (Sweden), Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (Italy), Region of Central Macedonia (Greece), Santa Casa Da Misericordia Da Amadora (Portugal) and Turkish Ministry of Health. Together, they aim to acquire an integrated care solution for the management of a multidisciplinary care model for people living with chronic heart failure.
Early diagnosis, care and follow-up, support for living with heart failure and process optimisation will be the cornerstones of the procured solutions.
The mechanism for procuring the solutions is Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP). In PCP, public procurers purchase R&D from several competing suppliers in parallel to compare alternative approaches and identify the most cost-effective solutions that the market can offer for their needs. R&D is divided into phases (solution design, prototyping, initial development and validation/testing of a limited number of initial products).
Ticbiomed will conduct the Open market Consultation which aims to inform the market about the tender and open a dialogue about the scope of the project.
