Helsinki University Hospital is now looking for partner hospitals interested in piloting the Health Village services in their operational environment. To this regard they have two tracks of collaboration opportunities. 

Helsinki University hospital is looking for clinical partner for the Horizon 2020 EU project hoping to collaborate with European hospital that will implement the concept in a real operational environment and thereby validate the concept.

The other collaboration alternative is to pilot the Health Village services outside of the EU project.

HUS is the biggest healthcare provider in Finland responsible for providing specialized healthcare to 1.6 million people. One of their digital solutions is Health Village, a comprehensive digital service platform that offers a tested concept for digital transformation in health care organizations. It delivers;

* public health services accessible for general public

* digital care pathways for patients with specific diagnoses

* digital services for healthcare professionals.

The services are enabled by a custom-made cloud-based IT platform and have been designed and built together with patients, healthcare professionals and patient organizations using the process, tools and templates of the Health Village eHealth Development Program.

The Health Village digital care pathways have already expanded to over 100 digital care pathways. Currently, Health Village services have been implemented and scaled nationally in Finland and the potential for scaling the services for any country, any organization and for any patient group has been recognized.
